Farm-to-Cafeteria conference
We are happy to inform you of a peninsula-wide Farm-to-Cafeteria conference being planned for November 5, 2009 at the Jamestown Tribe Community Center in Blyn. Please see www.clallamgrown.org for more details and to register online. The purpose of the conference is to increase awareness of the important role that Farm-to-Cafeteria programs can play in food systems, local economies, and community health and to discuss workable options for beginning Farm-to-Cafeteria programs on the peninsula now!
